Shona Clarke

BSc, DipScTech

Shona is passionate about the role nutrition plays in improving quality of life and wellbeing. Having dietary issues herself, Shona recognises that each person brings their own unique needs and goals and believes nutrition should reflect that individuality.

Shona’s journey into nutrition began when her mother was diagnosed with dementia.
Leaving behind a long standing career in the beauty industry, Shona became a caregiver and faced the challenge of supporting her mother’s nutritional needs as her condition progressed. This experience ignited a deep interest in the science of food and health, leading her to complete a Diploma in Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from Massey University.

Having travelled extensively from a young age and with family based around the world, Shona brings a broad appreciation for cultural diversity and the nutritional needs across all life stages.

Outside of her work, Shona enjoys playing golf, and sewing. She has three adult children and lives with her husband and two energetic dogs.
